There are many wonders in this world, two of my favorite are my little men Carter and Jaxon. It is because of them I have learned some great lessons: 1. Life is hectic, life is scary, and life is beautiful! 2. Learning is painful and messy. 3. Love is unconditional.♥

Wow, August is almost over!
I have no idea where time is going but I'm loving every minute! Nothing much going on here, just going to the park before it gets too hot or after it cools off, Carter is getting super brave. He likes to jump off things "my myself" and says, "To infinity, and beyond!" when he does it. He's becoming a super swimmer and enjoys jumping into Mataw and Pataw's pool "my myself" and he loves it, he says, "kick, kick, kick, paddle, paddle, paddle, swim, swim, swim" while he's swimming. I really wish I took the time to document all this cuteness on film but I'm too busy playing along, kinda make me sad when I look back at this year. I have too few pictures and so many memories that I would LOVE to have on film. Oh well, you can't go back, just forward, so that is my new goal for the rest of the year at least. Take more pictures! I love them and I love seeing everyone elses so snap away, snap away, snap away all!

The Douglas County Fair
The fair is here! Or was, lol. We went on Thursday night and had a great time. Carter loved seeing and feeding the animals and seriously enjoyed watching the tractor pull. Jax slept, because that's what he does, lol. My friend's parents were square dancing that night too, so it was really cool to watch Tim and Ronda boogie down. I took a few pics of Carter on the pony ride, a little boy behind him started to freak out and that caused Carter to have a minor panic attach and have to get down. He doesn't like it when people around him cry, even Jax crying makes him cry, my little sensitive man. We had dinner with Robert and Rita tonight because Bridget is in town for a few days, I love hearing Carter say "Aunt B" its just sooo stinkin' cute! One day Jax is going to be talking too and then I'll miss these snuggly baby days, until then I'm just going to enjoy :)

Babies will sleep anywhere...
So, there were record high temperatures in Eureka Springs this weekend, 104, not including the heat index! It was H O T! Once we got into the lake we didn't want to get out, including Jaxon who actually fell asleep while Drew was holding him in the lake. It was really cute! So, Drew headed to shore and tucked him in the stroller while he was still wet to make sure he stayed nice and cool. About an hour later we all headed out of the water, packed up, and went to the hotel to enjoy the AC and TV. Jason and Karen were so happy and we were glad we were able to join them to celebrate their marriage, woohoo!
The boys did surpisingly well on the road, Jaxon did get me on the way back with a super fun blow out but if that's the worst that happens any day, hey, bring it on! It was early to bed for Jax tonight but Carter wanted to be a night owl, he did eventually head to bed, said goodnight and then I went to check on him and he was in our bed, rearranged all the pillows and of course, left his hat on. What a silly man!
