I am seriously annoyed right now. There was a "nurse-in" held at Target stores today where women showed up and breast fed their babies. Absolutely, go ahead, feed your beautiful babies!! I'm sickened by the need for such protests. A woman was asked to either stop breastfeeding her baby or go do it in the bathroom at a Target in Texas last week or they would call the police; despite her being fully covered. Target's policy is that women can freely breastfeed in their store, so what gives? What is wrong with feeding your baby in public? I just don't understand this persecution of boobies! Everybody loves them. Everybody wants to save them, but nobody wants babies to eat??? And if e employees are going to suggest using a bathroom (puke) then they need to provide a lounge area, kept clean and tidy, with couches, rockers, pillows, aroma therapy, soothing music, a waterfall... And a play area for your older children...everything you might like if you CHOOSE to take a time out and breastfeed in private. Get over it America people have to eat to live, even the smallest people.

What?!?
I am so excited for Christmas this year! We have picked out some pretty awesome gifts for the boys and our family, I cant wait to see them open up the gifts. The gif I got for Drew is pretty sweet and I think he'll be surprised. Mostly I'm happy for the reason of the season, and hearing a three year old say Happy Birthday Jesus, is just hilarious!
There is a bit of ugly this season. Saturday we had some mail stolen, and which I cant prove it was them, I'd like to kick the neighbor kids in the teeth! I'm about 99.9999% they were hoping to find some money in the cards and once they learned they were actually just warm holiday greetings, they just crumpled the cards and threw them in the street. I know some people are desperate but I don't believe for one second thats what happened here. So I'll be policing the mail boxes around my house, it's the least I can do :)

New hilarious blog

A friend of mine on FB linked this blog post about the elf on a shelf over achievers. I almost peed my pants reading it! This gal, Jen, has some pretty great rants and makes me laugh, she is one I will continue to follow!

So funny! (and true!
So I came across this picture today which totally explains Jax and the stage he is in right now. When he is jabbering away, I swear, every third word is "Gabba" so please insert Yo Gabba Gabba in for Elmo!

Give other moms a break -- today is ’No Judgment Day’

Give other moms a break -- today is ’No Judgment Day’

I LOVE this idea! I know I carry around a great amount of mommy guilt and feel the need to justify every parenting choice I made. I also know I'm guilty of judging others, so today, I will NOT give in to that little nag in my head. Also please don't judge me because I only bathe my kids once or twice a week. :)

Hectic week TGTF(thank goodness tomorrow's Friday)

Day 28 I'm thankful for quiet time. I love this time every afternoon that I get to regroup and prepare for the "second shift" of my day. Somedays thus doesn't happen as Carter doesn't nap any more but usually he'll chill and wat h a movie while Jax naps. Sometimes I even crawl into bed and take a nap myself! Oh how I love quiet time!
Day 29 I'm thankful for lunch dates with friends. Impromptu or scheduled, an afternoon of fun with a friend is always something to be cherished.
Day 30 I'm thankful for my washer and dryer! Carter is having some setbacks and while that's very frustrating, I'm so glad I don't have to haul the dirties to a laundry mat. So today thank you God, Robert and Rita, and Mom and Dad for our washer and dryer!

December is here! Had a wonderful day, volunteered in Beanie's class, saw Matt and Amy, hung out with my Lynly, got to have baby Ella for a few hours, and ordered pizza for dinner, yum! It really is the small things in life that make me happy. Carter sang out during class, Ms. Kathy and Mrs. Donna were impressed.
